Shaw Contract Introduces a New Solution for Commercial Interiors

Shaw Contract, a design leader in commercial flooring solutions and surfaces, is pleased to introduce Inhabit Sheet and Abide LVT, a new resilient flooring collection of natural wood visuals that offer a welcoming space in acute care settings. The curated selection of wood finishes range from light natural to traditional wood tones, producing a palette that is designed to work together or alone. With subtle graining and soothing tones, this system of sheet and LVT plank allows designers to create calming environments that enhance both employee and patient experience.

Available in a variety of finishes including oak, walnut and teak, Inhabit Sheet and Abide LVT (pictured) offers lightly embossed textures that provide a realistic, handcrafted look and feel. The sheet wood visuals feature wider and longer plank widths adding to the authentic nature of the product. Abide LVT is constructed as a 7” x 48” plank allowing for maximum installation options including stagger, monolithic, brick and herringbone. Created in a complementary aesthetic, the sheet and LVT visuals work together in warm, calming tones allowing for side-by-side installation. Non-beveled edges produce a smooth surface and minimize the opportunity for the collection of debris.

Featuring a patented scratch-resistant ExoGuard+™ finish and a 20 mil wear layer that protects against premature aging, Inhabit Sheet and Abide LVT provides enhanced durability and ease of maintenance in the most demanding commercial environments. Manufactured with a minimal height difference of 2.2mm/2.5mm, the sheet and LVT planks can easily be installed together, eliminating the need for transitions and reducing the frequency of falls. The stain and scuff resistant properties of the collection eliminate the need for polish, reducing the time required for maintenance.
